Dunwoody’s Hotel has been a cornerstone of the North Cairns community since it first opened in 1992. Located on Sheridan Street, just a short walk from the Esplanade waterfront, the pub quickly established itself as a welcoming local hub for residents and visitors alike. 

Over the years, Dunwoody’s has evolved alongside the city, adapting to meet the needs of the growing Cairns region. Originally a classic pub with a strong community focus, it has undergone several transformations, including a major refurbishment in 2022 that refreshed its look while preserving its laid-back, friendly atmosphere. 

For over three decades, Dunwoody’s has remained a steadfast part of the North Cairns landscape, welcoming generations of patrons through its doors.
